Job Description

Home Lending Platform will focus in delivering enriching customer experience in US Mortgage area. Our product manages end-to-end Home Loan lifecycle. This product also supports the Home lending Origination platform across maintenance, hygiene, modernization, and availability.

 Correspondent Lending is a mortgage arrangement where a smaller lender originates the loans and sells them to a larger financial institution. The Correspondent lender acts as an intermediary, ensuring loans meet the investor requirements and industry regulations. It allows smaller lenders to access funds and expand their mortgage business while investors diversify their loan portfolios. Correspondent lending promotes liquidity and efficiency in the mortgage market, benefiting both lenders and investors. Correspondent Lending’s business model is a secondary market transaction to purchase closed and funded loans and/or mortgage servicing rights directly from independent mortgage bankers and financial institutions. The criticality of the Home Lending Platform and its health impact our customers and their Home Lending experience.

The Product Analyst is an integral member of the Agile Product and will primarily be tasked with helping ensure the successful IT implementation of Business Strategy and Value. This is a dynamic, leadership role that will provide the opportunity to support and at times co-lead in a fast-paced, team centric environment. Daily interactions will be with both Business centric, IT centric teams and blended teams which may be across time zones. A successful candidate will have a high sense of urgency, a sense of accomplishment by the success of the team, the ability to handle several high-priority items concurrently, know how to thrive in and support teams as needed and is comfortable making decisions sometimes leveraging incomplete information.

Experienced leader who engages with teams (comprised of software engineering, infrastructure development, architecture, etc. resources) to advance the product’s vision and strategy to satisfy customer need Leverages data analytics and deep customer journey knowledge in order to win market share and increase adoption by delivering new and enhanced products Executes against leadership direction by setting priorities and providing a strategic and tactical vision for the team Responsible for product being delivery Trusted partner to the business; driving solutions through influence

Primary Responsibilities

Implements in accordance with the product vision and strategy Assess, understand and measure customer need and value drivers Prioritizes work for delivery teams relative to product roadmap Establishes operational quality goals and manages error budget that gauges balance between feature & functionality and reliability activities in backlog Manages product lifecycle from concept to retirement by overseeing investment posture, resourcing and funding Conducts make vs. buy analysis to determine approach to fulfill customer and market need Creates user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria Demos the product to key stakeholders and customers Works with product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the product

Skills

Working knowledge of product management techniques (., product strategy development, customer engagement) Knowledge of process modelling techniques (., value stream mapping) Up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies Understanding of financial management, such as investment processes, business case development, cost and recovery models Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers Experience in managing agile, cross-functional teams, often through influence (., not direct oversight)

Business Knowledge

Strong understanding of a business value drivers with some understanding of broader business context Adopts a client centric environment for work with teams and contributors

Qualifications

8+ years of work experience in similar role Experience with the US Mortgages and knowledge about Business Processes related to the same Knowledge of Credit Card Interest, Fees, and US Credit Card Regulations a plus Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution at a detailed level Clearly and succinctly organize concepts into an actionable path that delivers progress Strong communication skills, both oral and written (able to effectively communicate/influence thru various levels in the organization) Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and making decisions with ambiguous information Agile Experience with tools such as Jira and understanding of Backlog Prioritization Techniques Hands on Experience of Functional Design Documentation including Business Use Cases, FSD’s,BRD’s or Business Requirements formulation Technical knowledge of coding languages is a plus (Cobol, Java, Experience in product management focused on technology products is an advantage Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders
