Leading a team comprising of qualified chartered accountants andhandling a bouquet of corporate clients/ Individuals andpartnership firms
Finalizing client deliverables inconsultation with the Partner
Leading and coordinatingtax planning and tax risk management assignments with guidance fromthe Partner. This would involve handling advisory litigation andbusiness tax requirements of clients comprising of and not limitedto:
o Consultation on inbound and outboundinvestments
o Permanent Establishment issues
o Withholding tax advisory
o Reviewing key corporate taxreturns and vetting of tax positions
o Overseeinglitigation matters and attending to notices from the TaxDepartment
o Ensuring that business tax requirements aremet
Leading the review and modification of key taxprocesses and systems and identifying opportunities to streamlinethem
Managing and maintaining relationship withclients
Identifying new opportunities for servingexisting clients deciding the scope and pricing
Activelyworking with crossfunctional teams to sights new opportunitieswhich can be taken to prospective clients
Initiating andactively participating in client meetings
Supervisingtraining and mentoring the team
Actively working withcrossfunctional teams to provide holistic tax solutions toclients Ensuring that projects arecompleted efficiently within the budgeted time and cost
Supporting practice management initiatives and catering tofinancial metrics. CoreCompetencies:

A strong passion and interest for tax with 6 years of experiencein
o Income tax advisory litigation andcompliance
o Assignments involving significant technicalresearch
Strong Project Management skills
Knowledge on interpretation of double tax avoidanceagreements
Working knowledge of Transfer Pricingprinciples
Experience in/exposure to FEMA will be anadded advantage
Good communication skills includinglegal/technical drafting
Good interpersonalskills
