The Role

The Area Sales Officer plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth within a designated geographic area. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for achieving targets. The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the timely achievement of sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and potential customers to expand the company's market presence.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular visits, calls, and emails.
  4. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing insights to improve sales strategies.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product offerings to drive sales growth.
  6. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  7. Provide training and support to sales representatives within the area, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively promote products and services.
  8. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and best practices in sales techniques.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area.


Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Real Estate and Industrial.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are willing to undertake more than 60% travel.
