KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Formulate strategic security architecture vision including standards, policies, procedures that are aligned with overall business strategy. Review existing IT security architecture, identifying design gaps and recommending security enhancements. Participate in the development life cycle of the systems to ensure that security issues are identified and addressed early on and provide the necessary security advice for key systems & applications. Determine security requirements by evaluating DPW business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security risk assessments, studying architecture/ platform for out digital products. Assist in the development of new security architectures, security policies, principles and standards as needed by actual or expected business change at DPW. Provide expertise and recommendation in application development, database design, network and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping respective teams comply with enterprise and information security policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations Drive the integration of security systems with security operational processes at DPW, building on and improving those processes across the organization.  Research current as well as emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate threats where possible. Develop DPW security architecture compliant with industry standards, global benchmarks, as well as governmental regulations. Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Context

Group Specialist - Security Architecture reports to VP – Security & Governance within Group Technology department. The job context will revolve around the following key areas: cyber security architecture design and implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s degree Computer science or equivalent. Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience Application Security, Cyber security or similar. Significant extensive experience in cyber security with a proven track record of successfully designing and delivering complex security architecture solutions in large organizations.  Working knowledge of cloud native security architectures. Industry recognized cyber security related certifications are preferred, including Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (MCCAE),GIAC Defensible Security Architect Certification (GDSA), Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). Good understanding in E-commerce, logistics, supply chain & port operations applications will be an added advantage. Experience in working with Multinational Companies (MNC) is preferable.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in wide range of technologies, including and not limited to security solutions, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), databases, APIs and others. Knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Rust, Java, and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
