KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop tools, scripts, automation and integrations to automate complex cyber security activities including but not limited to IT assets discovery, vulnerability management automation, etc.Support the security & governance team in cybersecurity automation initiatives, enabling automation of repetitive, manual, labour intensive tasks handled by the team.Use automation tools to leverage third party intelligence resources and APIs.Work closely with Security & Governance team and other stakeholders to identify and design new automation capabilities and procedural workflows.Automate human-driven and repetitive tasks currently handled by the cybersecurity operations team. Streamlines manual and time-consuming tasks into automated workflows, making network security processes more efficient and less prone to human error.Conduct research, evaluate current security operations processes and suggest automation workflows to be implemented.Define metrics and KPIs for assessment and monitoring of automated workflows, and provide periodic reporting on these metrics.Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.Perform other related duties as assigned.JOB CONTEXTGroup Specialist - Security Engineering reports to VP – Security & Governance within Group Technology department. The job context will revolve around the following key areas: cyber security engineering and automation.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s degree Computer science or equivalent.Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Cyber security, security engineering or similar.Experience with automation using scripting languages such as Python, Go, , Perl, Ruby, or other scripting languages.Understanding of the functionality and secure usage of various Azure services: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, App Services, Azure SQL Databases, Storage Accounts, Kubernetes, Containers, Key vaults.Experience working with CI/CD deployment pipelines & automated build and configuration tools such as Jenkins, Chef, OpenShift, Tekton, Cloud Build.Strong knowledge of Security, Orchestrations, Automation and Response (SOAR) concepts.Industry recognized cyber security related certifications are preferred, including Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or similar.Good understanding in E-commerce, logistics, supply chain & port operations applications will be an added advantage.Experience in working with Multinational Companies (MNC) is preferable.Soft SkillsExcellent analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Program and Project management skills.Time management skills.Team player and conflict management skills.Ability to adapt in a complex environment, loves challenges, with the will and drive to learn new things on his/her own.Cultural awareness.Technical SkillsExperience with automation using scripting languages such as Python, Go, , Perl, Ruby, or other scripting languages.Experience working with CI/CD deployment pipelines & automated build and configuration tools such as Jenkins, Chef, OpenShift, Tekton, Cloud Build.Strong knowledge of Security, Orchestrations, Automation and Response (SOAR) concepts.Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.#LI-AA6
