This is a remote position.

We are looking for Lead TestEngineer (Automation) to join our dynamicteam.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Lead our TestAutomation function and team of testengineers.
  • Design maintain anddocument our governance principles and ways ofworking.
  • Mentor our engineersand support their careerdevelopment.
  • Design develop andmaintain all elements of our system testing and testautomation.
  • Collaborate withproduct managers designers and otherengineers.
  • Write clean scalableand efficientcode.
  • Troubleshoot debugand upgrade existingsoftware.
  • Participate in codereviews and contribute to team knowledgesharing


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree orequivalent and relevant formal academic / vocationalqualification
  • Previous experienceas a Lead or Senior Test Engineer or similar role that provides theknowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8yearsexperience)
  • Excellent firsthandexperience and proficiency with Test Automation frameworks andtools including PactFlow Cypress.io Selenium TestNGCodedUI
  • Familiar with bothAzure and AzureDevOps
  • Knowledge of RESTfulAPIs and microservicesarchitecture.
  • In some cases anequivalency consisting of appropriate education training and/ordirectly related experience will be considered sufficient for anindividual to meet the requirements of therole.

Skills&Abilities:

  • Solidunderstanding of software developmentmethodologies.
  • Strong understandingof serverless architecture and cloud computingprinciples
  • Impressive knowledgeof TDD BDD including unit test integration and E2Etesting
  • Excellent criticalthinking skills and attention todetail.
  • Experienced withother elements of our techstack(preferred).
  • Contributions toopensource projects or personal projects(preferred).
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolvingabilities.
  • Good written andverbal communicationskills.
  • Ability to workeffectively in a teamsetting.
  • Willingness to learninnovative technologies and adapt to changingrequirements.
  • Ability to managemultiple tasks and prioritizeeffectively.


DesignandDevelopment:

  • Collaborate withsenior engineers product managers and designers to understandrequirements and assist in designingsolutions.
  • Develop scalablemaintainable and secure softwareapplications.
  • Write clean efficientand welldocumentedcode.


Testingand QualityAssurance:

  • Developand execute unit and integration tests to ensure softwarequality.
  • Participate in codereviews to ensure code quality and adherence to bestpractices.


DeploymentandOperations:

  • Assist inimplementing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build test anddeploymentprocesses.
  • Deploy applicationsto cloud environments under the guidance of seniorengineers.


MonitoringandMaintenance:

  • Monitorapplication performance and availability using appropriatetools.
  • Participate in theresolution of production issues and provide support introubleshooting.


CollaborationandLearning:

  • Workclosely with crossfunctional teams to align on project goals anddeliverables.
  • Seek mentorship fromsenior developers and actively engage in learningopportunities.
  • Participate in teammeetings standups andretrospectives.


ContinuousImprovement:

  • Stay up todate with the latest industry trends tools andtechnologies.
  • Suggest improvementsto the development process and toolchain.
  • Contribute to aculture of continuous learning and improvement within theteam.

Previous experience as a Lead or Senior Test Engineer or similarrole that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to performthe job (comparable to 8+ years experience) Excellent first-handexperience and proficiency with Test Automation frameworks andtools including PactFlow, Cypress.io, Selenium, TestNG, CodedUIFamiliar with both Azure and Azure DevOps Knowledge of RESTful APIsand microservices architecture. In some cases an equivalency,consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directlyrelated experience will be considered sufficient for an individualto meet the requirements of the role.
