Key job responsibilities
• Experience of managing complex business processes/Programs at scale.
• Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs that impact pricing and hence customer experience on Amazon
• Good communication and influencing skills with an ability to deal with a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in defining, developing and using metrics to drive the vision and manage the business.
• Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive insights for enhancing systems
• Ability to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains.
• Liaise with tech, product, ops and category teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects
• Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon
· Designing and developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the Retail business.
· Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization.
Job Description:
Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for scaling programs. The job involves end to end business planning including but not limited to creating annual plans and strategy for execution, ensuring operational rigor and designing high business impact processes. He/she will be the strategic point of contact to the teams of Amazon in India and worldwide and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote teams and senior leaders.
He/She will manage business impact via functional activities and will be accountable for designing and delivering on all KPIs of the same. The individual will interface and drive agenda with the automation & technology teams to build scalable solutions and in addition he/she will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of Amazon’s systems and data. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- 8+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of leading large complex programs experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
