Senior Associate, AML Team Lead - Compliance & Control

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate (Team Lead) to join our FCC- AML Transaction Monitoring team. This role is located in Chennai, TN - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • With minimal guidance and supervision, Supports in assessing risk when business decisions are made, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new AML transaction monitoring rules and scenarios to enhance detection capabilities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on AML transaction monitoring queries, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Able to prioritize daily tasks and work queues to accurately meet client deliverables across team’s client base.
  • Prepares reports for management on deliverable status and reviews reports with more senior roles to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Review existing processes / applications and identify opportunities for improvement and support the development of Monthly Service Packs.
  • People management experience will be an added advantage.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
  • Attention to detail and strong eye for accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, ability to quickly absorb information, conceptual and creative problem-solving excellence.
  • 7+ years of banking, product/financial services and/or Funds industry experience would be preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years of team handling experience is preferred.
