Overview:TheFreelancer IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in the organization bysourcing screening and selecting qualified IT candidates forvarious roles. This position is vital in ensuring that theorganization has access to top IT talent to support its operationsand growth.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Collaborate withhiring managers to understand their IT staffingneeds
  • Source potential candidates throughonline channels (e.g. social platforms and professionalnetworks)
  • Screen IT resumes and jobapplications
  • Conduct interviews using variousreliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filtercandidates
  • Assess applicants relevant knowledgeskill sets and experience
  • Advertise jobopenings on social media company career pages and otherplatforms
  • Assist in the onboarding process fornew hires
  • Build a strong IT candidate pipelinefor future hiring needs
  • Maintain regularcommunication with candidates and keep them informed of theirapplication status
  • Develop a network ofpotential candidates and industryprofessionals
  • Manage recruitmentrelated vendorrelationships as needed
  • Participate in IT jobfairs and career events
  • Collaborate with ITagencies universities and other organizations to source top ITtalent
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws andregulations during the hiring process
  • Provideregular updates to the management team regarding recruitmentactivities and candidatestatus
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree inHuman Resources Business Administration IT or a relatedfield
  • Proven work experience as an IT recruiterHR recruiter or similar role
  • Demonstratedknowledge of IT skills roles andqualifications
  • Experience with variousinterview formats (e.g. phone videoinperson)
  • Familiarity with HR databasesapplicant tracking systems and candidate managementsystems
  • Strong understanding of recruitmentprocesses and best practices
  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Abilityto work effectively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment
  • Proven track record of successfullymeeting recruitment targets anddeadlines
  • Excellent time management andorganizational abilities
  • Ability to build andmaintain professional networks
  • Understanding ofrelevant employment laws andregulations
  • Certification in HR or recruitment(e.g. PHR SHRMCP) is a plus
  • Proficiency inusing social media for recruiting (LinkedIn Facebooketc.)
