About the team  

We are Platform Securities Team providing Investment Accounting Services to Investment Advisor Globally, so we have different teams working on Position Recon, Cash Recon, Exception Resolution, Financial Reporting, Trade Team and so on.

What you will be doing  

This position is for Platform Securities (Settlement Team): You will be responsible to work with different custodians, clients, clearing houses and make sure all trades are Settled on time. Coordinate the performance scorecards and lead the service meetings.

  What you bring:  

Knowledge / Experience

  • Min 7-8 years of experience on Trade Settlement/ Trade coordination/ Trade exception handling.
  • Good understanding of Crest, UBS, Allfunds, ClearStream, Direct etc .
  • Robust understanding of UK & Euro & International security types.
  • Hands on experience around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
  • Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
  • Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.
  • May mentor and guide junior Account Services Specialists and/or proactively assist in production issues and questions .
  • Working closely with the team to identify process needs, putting strong controls in place, and identify the gaps in process. Also ensure that all SLA’s are met.
  • Raise any issues related to process, people and others to line management on urgent basis with possible solution.
  • Should be very active who can discover out the opportunities in existing business by gaining efficiencies, Automating the processes
  • Candidate should be in position to manage the team in absence of manager.
  • Assists in tracking, compiling and completing Reports/ MIS as assigned
  • Highlight any matter affecting productivity, efficiency, service or problem resolution
  • Seeking Manager approval if there is work requests from sources outside the department.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-driven, focusing on providing the highest quality work and services to our clients.

Qualifications

  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management/Administration or related field of study.
