  • Designs codes tests debugs and documentssoftware according to our systems quality standards policies andprocedures.
  • Analyzesbusiness needs and creates software solutions.
  • Responsible for preparing designdocumentation.
  • Prepares test data for unit string and parallel testing.
  • Evaluates andrecommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
  • Resolves customerissues with software solutions and responds to suggestions forimprovements and enhancements.
  • Works with business and development teams to clarifyrequirements to ensure testability.
  • Drafts revises and maintains test plans testcases and automated test scripts.
  • Executes test procedures according tosoftware requirements specifications Logs defects and makesrecommendations to address defects.
  • Retests software corrections to ensureproblems are resolved.
  • Documents evolution of testing procedures for futurereplication.
  • Mayconduct performance and scalability testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prioritizes own work regarding the development codingtesting and debugging of new software or enhancements to existingsoftware.
  • Providesresolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complexscope.
  • Responsiblefor the gathering of requirements analysis design andimplementation of highquality code for highly complex components ina given product with a focus on software installation solutions.
  • Responsible for thedevelopment and implementation of customized web applications.
  • Assists inestablishing group priorities relative to basic or very specificbusiness needs. Performs estimation efforts on projects.
  • Conducts a range ofqualitycontrol tests and analysis to ensure that software meets orexceeds specified standards and enduser requirements.
  • Logs defects and identifiescourse of action.
Description
  • BIOSAutomation Engineer as a BIOS Automation Engineer responsible forthe design and development activities associated with methods forvalidating hardware/software systems and broader solutions.
  • Prepares test anddiagnostic programs designs test fixtures and test tools andcompletes validation specifications and procedures for new andchanges to existing products.
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for automating UEFI FW Features.
  • Engineer isresponsible for the setup maintenance and ongoing development ofcontinuous build/ integration infrastructure for BIOS.
  • Support full automation of CI/Testing.
Your responsibilities may includebut not be limited to:
  • Understand featurerequirements architecture and design UEFI FW UEFI FW code debuggingUEFI FW testing with SW platform components like CPU PCH FW OS etc.
  • Participates in thesoftware development lifecycle which includes research newdevelopment modification security correction of errors reusereengineering and maintenance of software products
  • Responsible for the delivery ofproducts within budget schedule and quality guidelines.
  • Manages or utilizessoftware that is built and implemented as a product usingbestinclass development process/lifecycle management (ex: AgileWaterfall).
  • Createstechnical documentation of software products/solutions. Assistswith the validation and review of end user and technical end userdocumentation.
  • Develops and implements plans and tests for productquality or performance assurance.
  • Be familiar with Window security features
  • Technicalunderstanding of common security vulnerabilities and risks as wellas countermeasures and compensating controls.
  • Skillset UEFI Python C C
  • Good understandingof Quality Control and Test Automation in Agilebased ContinuousIntegration environments
