Aboutthe RoleWere seeking atalented and motivated Junior Backend Developer to join ourdevelopment team. As a Junior Backend Developer you will work underthe guidance of senior developers and be responsible for developingand maintaining the backend components of our softwareapplications.
Responsibilities
  • Collaboratewith the development team to design develop and test backendfunctionality for our softwareapplications.
  • Write clean and efficient code inlanguages such as Python.
  • Work closely withsenior developers to understand project requirements and offercontributions and suggestions forimprovement.
  • Troubleshoot and debug any backendissues that may arise during the developmentprocess.
  • Contribute to technical documentationand participate in code review sessions to ensure code quality andadherence to bestpractices.

Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • 12 years of experience in backenddevelopment preferably in a professional or commercialsetting.
  • Strong understanding of objectorientedprogramming principles.
  • Proficiency in at leastone backend programming language such asPython.
  • Experience with backend frameworks andlibraries such as Django orFastAPI.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and webservices.
  • Understanding of relational databasesand SQL. Handson experience with either PostgreSQL or MySQL is amust have.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andattention to detail.
  • Strong communication andteamworkskills.

Niceto haves
  • Experiencewith ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy is aplus.
  • Handson experience with any major cloudprovider like GCP or AWS is a plus.
  • Basicknowledge of frontend development technologies like HTML CSS andJavaScript would be aplus.
