Job Description

Overall responsibilities and duties:
o Perform engineering assignments as part of design/ project team for various projects assigned, following and applying the systems and standards set by FTCI and customers under the guidance of CAE leader.
o Uses appropriate softwares to do the analysis that meet engineering specifications.
o To engage in customer communication on frequent basis (AT&T meeting).


The main missions of the role are:
o To receive input from CAE Leader for the execution of assignment.
o Ensure effective communication with Faurecia using appropriate tools (AT&T and tele conferencing).
o To ensure the availability of information mentioned in the work order e.g., CAD Data, relevant documents, planning and budgeting.
o Understand the work description and contact the CAE Leader in case of doubt.
o Plan for the execution of the assignment.
o Discuss and finalize the time estimation and delivery date with CAE Leader and customers.
o Execute the assignment as per the systems and procedures of FTCI.
o Provide technical solutions.
o Conduct simulation reviews with CAE pilot [e-vis review] and PDL / PTE.
o Discuss the workload projections with the CAE Leader for planning.
o To ensure flawless communication with Customer.
o To ensure that the customer standards are followed.
o Complete the assignment within the estimated time on or before the decided delivery date. Anticipated delay to be communicated to CAE Leader 2 days in advance.
o Ensure regular and timely timesheet punching
o Anticipate the potential areas of issues and intimate the CAE Leader. 
o Asking the required information / CAD & CAE data from customer in the initial phase of assignment ).
o To make sure that the CAE processes, methods, tools and standards are followed as set by FTCI.
o Ensure effective communication with Faurecia using appropriate tools (AT&T and tele conferencing).
o To make sure that Quality and Delivery requirements of all assignments are respected by putting all the requisites in place.
o To maintain lessons learnt sheet and ensure implementation of the same to avoid repetition of mistakes.
o To maintain minutes of CAE review meetings.
o To attend daily TOP 5 meeting with customer.
o To uphold & abide by code of ethics & Management

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: 
Experience :
o Preferred Masters degree in engineering with minimum 2 years experience in either of Abaqus, Pamcrash & LS Dyna or moldflow.
o Bachelors Degree in engineering with prior experience of minimum 3-5 years in either of Abaqus, Pamcrash & LS Dyna or moldflow.

 Skills and competencies
o Result oriented team player with strong communication skills in English or customer language (French or German).
o Thorough training/knowledge in CAE software. 
o Ability to work in matrixed organization
o Knowledge of PMS process.
o Knowledge of CAE standards, tools and methods.
o Problem solving techniques.
o Strategic and analytic capabilities
