Job Description

:

The HR Operations team is engaged in the administration of a broad range of HR activities associated with the employment cycle. The team acts as the point of contact for queries from managers/ employees and provides a comprehensive administrative support service to the human resources team, supporting projects undertaken within the human resources department.

The HR Operations Manager will lead the provision of a high quality and responsive HR Service, co-ordinating the workflow and ensuring that the operations team is actively engaged in the continuous improvement of all HR Operations. The individual will be pivotal in driving organizational efficiency and fostering a positive work environment through effective HR management practice.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Process Improvement and Efficiency

Develop and implement efficient HR processes and policies to streamline operations and enhance employee experience.

Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement and automation

Delivery through Team

Lead team to ensure delivery of an excellent and accurate HR operations service to customers.

Supervise the delivery of HR Operations, managing the workflow to ensure, accurate, high quality and timely provision of services to all customers within the HR function and organization.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team with a view to identifying ways of improving performance levels.

Facilitate the development of standard operating procedures and service standards, ensuring that these are monitored to ensure the high quality and consistent delivery of HR services.

Lead the integration of all aspects of HR administration (along with different COE’s)

Work with the HR Systems and Data Analytics Partner to ensure these are effectively maintained and developed to meet business need.

Support the Team as necessary to ensure smooth operational delivery.

Lead Projects to conclusion

Lead and/or support HR projects/initiatives

Custodian of HR Operations & Administration

Supervision of the HR Operations team in all aspects of HR Administration including acting as first point of contact for internal and external customers

Support resolution of user issues relating self-service HR system working with Shared service team in a timely manner.

Monitor HR Case management of the team’s to ensure that all queries receive a response within expected timescales and complex issues are escalated to senior members of the HR team as appropriate.

Data Integrity – Governance and partner with Shared services team.

Review relevant HR documentation to ensure accessibility in line with current legislation, regulations and practice – ensuring all Compliance and Audit processes.

Review current procedures and workflows and work with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements.

HR Systems: Oversee the implementation, training and maintenance of HR systems

General

Provide support to the HR management team to provide a comprehensive and professional service.

Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant human resources issues.

Ensure that HR Partners are kept informed of any issues which may impact upon HR operations.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to the above areas of responsibility the position maybe required to undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the broad scope of the position.
