Senior AWSArchitect/Engineer

Key RequiredSkills:

Systems Admin supportingMiddleware Enterprise Applications managing complexsystems/projects workflow technical knowledge of AWS platform andapplications in AWS IaaS PaaS SaaS environments understandingNetwork functions/team collaboration.

Position Description:

Provide engineering and operations support for the AWSCCaaS platform.

Analyze application andplatform and translate functional requirements into technicalsolutions.

Provide recommendations to solvetechnical business problems and identify opportunities andrisks.

Provide cloud architectural platformoptimization consulting expertise to technical leads cloudengineers and other systems architects.

Document and review IT cloud architecture/infrastructure andtechnology portfolio.

Provide recommendationsand implementation of cloud technology standards policies andstandards.

Attend all customer technicaldiscussions/design/development meetings and provide technicalinputs to further enhance the code quality/process.

Impact functional strategy by developing new solutionsprocesses standards or operational plans that position customercompetitively in the marketplace with best practices.

All other duties as assigned or directed.

Skills Requirements:

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (BasicQualifications)

Bachelors degree inComputer Science Mathematics Engineering or a relatedfield

Masters or Doctorate degree maysubstitute for required experience.

7 years ofexperience in Ansible Kubernetes Containers GitLab Jenkins JiraConfluence and CloudFormation

7 years in AWSCloud Services such as VPC EC2 EKS ECR EFS EBS S3 RDS DynamoDBCloudFront SQS Elastic Load Balancing Auto Scaling Route 53 CloudWatch and IAM.

5 years of experience practicingAWS Cloud Computing DevOps CI/CD Infrastructure AutomationConfiguration Management and Quality EngineeringExpertise.

Proficiency with integrating AWSapplications with inhouse systems e.g. CRM ServiceNow

Contact center migration experience from legacy systemsto cloud hosted capabilities.

Experienceworking in Agile Practices (e.g. SAFE Scrum)

Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Extensive handson experience withInfrastructure as Code (IAC) tools for automation(Ansible).

Handson experience with programminglanguages (e.g. Python Ruby or PowerShell).

Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios Splunk).

Excellentunderstanding of change management testing requirements techniquesand tools to ensure high availability of systems.

Prior Federal government experience

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or arelated field with 7 years of experience

Mustbe able to obtain a public trust clearance.
