We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager - Operations to oversee and manage our operational functions, including production, procurement, and inventory management. - Oversee and manage the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with company objectives, managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate records and optimal stock levels, and implementing control measures to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, preparing regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
RequirementsDesired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Defence background is preferable.
