Senior Finance Manager

What this job involves:

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for successful delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services and support to the account/client. He/she is also responsible to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations with particular focus on the client’s reporting requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting and ReportingManage the day-to-day regional financial and accounting operations with focus on the client’s reporting requirements at a local, regional and global levelAccountable for the successful delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services & support as defined in the Client ContractEnsure timely production of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting for Account.Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting for Account through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to all stakeholders.Provide support to the management team on month end processes, accruals, monthly reporting and performance commentaries.Analysis and variance reporting of expenses against budget and forecast for Account.Understand the operating costs, budget, and forecast for Account.Develop, maintain, and deliver in timely manner the Client’s approved financial formats across the sites.To achieve KPI, financial, and other targets as established for the accountMonitor and ensure efficient use of resources, manage budgetary function and oversight of accounts payable and receivable functionA strategic partner with the Account Director & the leadership team Business Partnering and Contract ManagementManagement and administration of the Service Provider Agreement between Client and JLLSupport Account Director & account leadership team in handling business, operational, financial decision making, risk mitigation and other pricing adviceTeam member of Account Partnership Team with clientExpense and debtor’s managementSetting and review of financial KPIsResolving system issuesProcess improvementsEnsure the Finance team assists with on-going cost saving projects, including Invoice Payments & BillingsManage all accounts payable related activities, such as payments, invoice submissions and AP reporting.Support and maintain all necessary guidelines and manuals associated with the accounts payable / receivable process.Ensure timely billing to the client in conjunction with FSC team.Accountable for monitoring the accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection from client.Ensure all client invoicing and vendor invoice processing complies with the local taxation requirements.Responsible for all issues relating to local invoicing taxation requirements and laws.

You have a degree in finance, accounting certification preferred with at least 15- 20 years of experience. You are able to think strategically, solve problems, make decisions and manage your key stakeholders. You will have a real passion and interest for the industry, coupled with excellent business partnering & commercial finance experience.

Capable

You pay strong attention to detail and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You have good work ethic and a positive attitude with a “can do” mind-set and will follow through on issues. You are also a self-starter with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

You are team player who promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates and peers, regularly contributes to team discussions and problem solving/ brainstorming sessions. You are also an effective listener and communicator.
