Weare looking for a Data Entry Operator to update and maintaininformation on our company databases and computersystems.Data Entry Operator responsibilitiesinclude collecting and entering data in databases and maintainingaccurate records of valuable company information. Our idealcandidate has essential data entry skills like fast typing with aneye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.You will work with a data team and Data Manager. Previousexperience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position will beconsidered anadvantage.
Ultimatelya successful Data Entry Operator will be responsible formaintaining accurate uptodate and useable information in oursystems.
Responsibilities
  • Insertcustomer and account data by inputting text based and numericalinformation from source documents within timelimits
  • Compile verify accuracy and sortinformation according to priorities to prepare source data forcomputer entry
  • Review data for deficiencies orerrors correct any incompatibilities if possible and checkoutput
  • Research and obtain further informationfor incomplete documents
  • Apply data programtechniques and procedures
  • Generate reportsstore completed work in designated locations and perform backupoperations
  • Scan documents and print files whenneeded
  • Keep informationconfidential
  • Respond to queries for informationand access relevant files
  • Comply with dataintegrity and security policies
  • Ensure properuse of office equipment and address anymalfunctions

Requirementsandskills
  • Provendata entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or OfficeClerk
  • Experience with MS Office and dataprograms
  • Familiarity with administrativeduties
  • Experience using office equipment likefax machine and scanner
  • Typing speed andaccuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correctspelling grammar and punctuation
  • Attention todetail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organizationskills with an ability to stay focused on assignedtasks
  • High school diploma; additional computertraining or certification will be anasset
