As a Design EngineerOutfitting you will haveto work in close coordination with the design team and client. YourRole and Responsibilities willbe:

  • Creating detail design3D model and related drawings using Ship Design software likeCadmatic or Ship Constructor or equivalent.
  • Understanding of detailed production designfor Piping related outfitting including 3D model.
  • Understanding and study of PFD P&IDsdesign calculation / analysis procurement specification etc.
  • Basic and detail design engineering activitiesfor the assigned projects in Marine Offshore or Oil and Gasprojects in accordance with the company established procedures.
  • Contributing to the creation of outfitting andother related details for all areas of ship.
  • Good understanding and knowledge ofinternational piping standards Piping components and material etcfor new building & retrofit projects for Shipbuilding &Offshore Industry.
  • Reading and understandingthe P&IDs Piping material specification and constructionstandard.
  • Preparation of bill of materials andweight calculations.
  • Understanding of Pipesupport fabrication drawing Piping Isometric sketches LayoutDrawings.
  • Review of vendors documents drawingsdatasheets specifications and calculations.
  • Willing to relocate on client site eitherdomestic or International on short notice.
  • Anyother associated task or responsibilities assigned from time totime by the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • You are adiploma/graduate in mechanical or equivalent with PG in piping fromrecognized institutes and with minimum work experience of 1 to 2years.
  • You have worked on detail and basicdesign projects in the area of Ship Outfitting (Piping) design orwith shipyard experience.
  • You have technicalknowledge of preparation of isometrics arrangement 3D model forbasic detail and production stages for marine / offshore platformsetc.
  • Conversant with the Engineering Standardssuch as API DIN ASME BS / EN etc.
  • You havegood communication skills.
  • You have minuteattention to detail and seek perfection in your work.
  • You would like to continue to develop yourtechnical & intrapersonal knowledge and use it to retain &create satisfied customers. You are ready to serve minimum servicecommitment of 2 years in ourcompany.
