Bengaluru, India Alstom Full time

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time GFC Continuous Improvement Lead in our Finance Transformation headquarters we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your process improvement and quality management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and strategic-thinking teammates.

You'll lead the way in establishing and promoting Lean Six Sigma processes within our organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as GFC leadership teams and country/region finance leadership teams), drive standardization of processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement projects, as well as developing and continuously training operational teams in quality and Lean concepts.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supervision of quality assurance activities

  • Meeting and exceeding quality and continuous improvement objectives

  • Liaising with process owners, leads, and managers to address process issues

  • Supporting global initiatives towards continuous improvements

  • Converting stakeholder feedback into improvement actions

  • Monitoring process data and root cause analyses to ensure quality standards

  • Contributing to strategic initiatives and special projects as required

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Accounting

  • 5-8 years of experience in process improvement/quality management in a multinational company or BPO

  • Knowledge of SAP or related financial tools

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies

  • A certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Yellow Belt or higher)

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical tools

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Leadership qualities and change management skills

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with cutting-edge quality assurance methodologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects enhancing global mobility

  • Utilise our dynamic and collaborative working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning programs

  • Progress towards leadership and advanced expert roles

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you

Important to note
