Aboutthe Role:We areseeking a highly motivated Intern to join our IT Department atRentomojo. As an intern you will have the opportunity to gainhandson experience in system configuration network setup assetmanagement software installation and troubleshooting and basicnetworking. This internship will provide valuable exposure to theIT operations of a leading ecommerce business in the furniture andappliances rentalindustry.Responsibilitiesand Ownership:(Things that therole cannot miss)
  • SystemConfiguration:
  • Assist in configuring andsetting up computer systems for newemployees.
  • Perform hardware and softwareinstallations and updates as per therequirements.
  • Ensure proper functioning ofsystems and troubleshoot any issues thatarise.
  • Network Setup andMaintenance:
  • Assist in setting up andmaintaining the networkinfrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the IT team toensure network connectivity and smoothoperations.
  • Troubleshoot networkrelated issuesand provide timely resolutions.
  • BacklineCreation and Management:
  • Support the creationand maintenance of backups for critical systems anddata.
  • Ensure proper backup procedures arefollowed and regularly test backups for dataintegrity.
  • Assist in restoring data frombackups when necessary.
  • AssetManagement:
  • Assist in managing and tracking ITassets including hardware and softwareinventory.
  • Help maintain an accurate record ofasset details such as serial numbers andconfigurations.
  • Coordinate with the IT team tostreamline asset allocation and retrievalprocesses.
  • Software Installation andTroubleshooting:
  • Assist in softwareinstallation updates and licensemanagement.
  • Provide basic troubleshootingsupport to endusers for softwarerelatedissues.
  • Escalate complex software problems tothe appropriate IT personnel.
  • BasicNetworking:
  • Support the maintenance of LAN andWAN infrastructure.
  • Assist in basic networktroubleshooting including connectivity and configurationissues.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensurenetwork security and dataprotection.


PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currentlypursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science InformationTechnology or a relatedfield.
  • Basic understandingof computer systems hardware andsoftware.
  • Familiarity withnetwork concepts andprotocols.
  • Strongproblemsolving and troubleshootingskills.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
  • Enthusiasm tolearn and contribute to the IT operations of an ecommercebusiness.

Duration:Thisis an internship position for a duration of 6 months. Based onperformance POP offer isavailable.
