The team
Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators

As a GCP Devops Engineer in our Engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our systems and processes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement effective DevOps solutions. Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support our applications. Implement and automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based systems for performance and cost efficiency. Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud-based applications. Work with development teams to ensure code and application deployments are smooth and efficient. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document system requirements and processes. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing. Contribute to the development and documentation of DevOps processes and procedures. Participate in on-call support and incident resolution as needed.Desired qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related role. Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and products. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby). Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Strong understanding of networking, security, and best practices for cloud-based applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. Good communication skills and the ability to document processes and procedures effectively Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent. Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana). Previous experience in a DevOps role within a fast-paced and agile development environment.Location and way of working

Working with cloud platforms Experience as an enterprise systems administrator in a client or server environment, including deployment automation tools, such as Ansible. Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking and storage Experience architecting cloud infrastructures on AWS for small, medium scale and enterprise level applications. Specific experience in implementing with AWS, including Virtual Networks, Computes, Load Balancers, Storage, Database and IAM Services Broad experience with cloud adoption, including application readiness assessment, prototyping of new environments, server builds, data migration, performance tuning of cloud environments. Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows Experience with configuring software defined networking and security configurations, including security groups and ACLs. Experience with DevOps procedures and processes and with working in an Agile environment. Experience with troubleshooting very complex distributed environments pertaining to connectivity and application performance and monitoring tools and offering high-level strategic planning and advice to an entity that will allow for the successful adoption or migration of Cloud-based technologies or services.How you’ll grow
