Job Title: Safety andMaintenance Engineer

Location: BhwandiMumbai

We are seeking a highly skilled Safetyand Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidatewill be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety protocolsand maintenance operations within our industrial unit. This rolerequires a strong understanding of safety regulations maintenanceprocedures and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigatingrisks.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement SafetyProtocols: Design implement and maintaincomprehensive safety protocols to ensure compliance with localstate and federal regulations. Regularly review and update safetyprocedures to reflect best practices and emerging risks.

  2. Conduct RiskAssessments: Identify potential safety hazards andconduct risk assessments to mitigate risks to personnel equipmentand the environment. Develop strategies to minimize workplaceaccidents and incidents.

  3. Train Employees: Providetraining and guidance to employees on safety procedures equipmentoperation and emergency response protocols. Foster a culture ofsafety awareness and compliance throughout theorganization.

  4. Manage MaintenanceActivities: Oversee maintenance activities includingpreventive maintenance repairs and equipment inspections.Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution ofissues and minimal disruption to operations.

  5. Troubleshooting and ProblemSolving: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipmentmalfunctions mechanical failures and other maintenance issues.Develop solutions to resolve problems efficiently andeffectively.

  6. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance safetyreliability and efficiency. Implement initiatives to optimizemaintenance practices and reduce downtime.

  7. Compliance andReporting: Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and industry standards related to safety andmaintenance. Maintain accurate records and documentation of safetyinspections maintenance activities and incident reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering SafetyManagement or related field.
  • Proven experiencein industrial safety management and maintenanceoperations.
  • Strong knowledge of safetyregulations including OSHA standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively andcollaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy andthoroughness.
  • Certification in safetymanagement (e.g. CSP CIH) is a plus.
  • Experience with industrial equipment and machinery ispreferred.
