The Purpose of This Role

As a “Squad Leader” in Cloud Platforms Product Line of AM Tech India Technology Foundation you will play an important role in building integrated cloud-hosted solutions for Asset Management. You will be accountable for developing the Pipelines, Common Frameworks and Services for Cloud Deployments and the next gen Gen AI (Open AI, GPT) Platform.

The Value You Deliver

Defining, refining, and communicating the squads' mission and roadmap to empower and establish team and partner support and alignment

Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing Fidelity Business Unit partner needs to serve as their voice and guide execution of the team

Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteria

Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments

Measuring performance and stability against established objectives and critical metrics and delivering agreed upon business, technology, and people results

Collaborating and coordinating with chapter leaders and scrum masters to build squad capacity and capability and enabling squad member growth, development, and learning

Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines

You do not compromise for the sake of social acceptance and demonstrate conviction and drive to operate in highly ambiguous situations thriving in uncertainty while keeping your eyes on the long-term vision.

You have a creator mindset with rapid prototyping ability. You love building things, taking an idea, visualizing the design, and creating rapid prototypes that are shippable.

Comfort in leading, prioritizing, and empowering team members without formal management authority

An analytical approach to decision making, both in the day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs

A platform mentality, building for scale and reuse across multiple experiences

Good presentation, documentation, and communication skills

Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high performing teams

Customer focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, making decisions, and prioritize to improve value delivered

Ability to break requirements into clear and concise agile tasks with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate

Focused on execution and identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress

Continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working, accepting servant leadership behaviors and approach

Establish and maintain positive relationships as you work closely across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach
