Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, DevOps Engineer

In this role, we are seeking skilled DevOps engineer with relevant years of experience supporting, automating, and optimizing mission critical deployments in on-Prem and Cloud setups, leveraging configuration management, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of OnPremise, cloud-based production system

Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems

Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems

Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products

System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms

Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance

Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and solutions

Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements

Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring

Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology

Azure/AWS DevOps Certifications

Red Hat DevOps Certifications

DevOps Institute Certifications

Professional software development experience

Programming experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ansible

Experience in deploying building large scale Java, Python web application with HA

Experience in Cloud Environment and Tools

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Good hands-on knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git, Subversion etc.

Proficient in developing Continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines.

Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo.

Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure, GCP.

Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure) CloudFormation, Terraform, and how you can achieve that by using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.

Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
