Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary:
At Illumina, our people are our most important resource. We are looking for a dedicated Staff Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist to become one of them, and to help us find them. As a Staff TA Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring talents with the goal to fulfill business’ needs.
To be a successful Staff TA Specialist in Illumina, you need to be innovative and forward thinking in providing solutions for acquiring talents. The ideal candidate should be familiar with social media and its applications in TA, has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail-oriented, remains up-to-date with employment law and legislation, and keeps informed in company hiring plans.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage efficient, creative, fast-paced full-cycle recruiting strategies that support Illumina’s rapid growth plan Have a comprehensive understanding of full lifecycle recruitment in support of short and long-term business objectives Act as a Team Lead and provide leadership, training and guidance to recruiters to improve their job performance Work with the TA team and manage optimization of workload balancing across team, and escalate issues as needed Foster a high performance, inclusive, collaborative, relationship-oriented team environment, creating a high trust culture Work with recruiting team to help develop innovative talent acquisition strategies and programs for specific business units to attract and retain world class talent Partner with senior leaders, hiring managers and recruiters to develop, drive, and execute on recruiting/sourcing strategies to ensure the best candidate and hiring manager experiences Establish and maintain key cross-functional relationships with internal HR stakeholders Establish and maintain relationships with business unit FP&A partners Work with APAC TA Leader to manage the recruiting resources against defined headcount goals and outcomesPosition Requirements:
Experience with applicant tracking system Experience in managing a RPO Ability to think strategically and analytically Excellent communication and presentation skills Supervisory experience leading teams in recruitment Experience in developing, aligning, and executing recruitment strategy to meet recruitment initiatives and organizational needs Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment Ability to work in a collaborative global matrix organization Demonstrated coaching and career counseling skillsAll listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.
Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
Possess a Bachelor Degree in any discipline Minimum 8 years recruiting experience with 5+ years of inhouse corporate recruiting experience preferred Proven ability to manage multiple projects and candidates simultaneously under minimal supervision. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Proficient in sourcing techniques including Linkedin, Google, ATS mining, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
