Project and Development Services What this job involves: Steering projects at the helm To be stationed in (India), you’ll work side-by-side with the senior projectmanager to ensure the success of a project—from its pre-design phase to its completion.You’ll assemble and lead various project teams; monitoring the teams’ performance, andbringing out the best in every team member. We achieve our biggest success when workingtogether, so clear communication is key, as is collaboration and team work. You’re also incharge of creating the organisational structure, project objectives and working proceduresfor the teams.Your project management skills will also be of great value, as you set up clear project costplans and allot sufficient budget to achieve optimal results and meet the company’s targetprofits. A structured and organised approach with an eye for detail is crucial. Also part ofyour job is to attend project meetings as required, develop monthly reports and carry outcontract administration. Furthermore, you’ll oversee negotiations, analyses andpromotions of quality control systems.Core to our reputation is our strong focus on health & safety and on sustainability, andyou’ll be expected to keep these front-of-mind at all times. To apply you need to be: A seasoned expert The ideal candidate is driven and ambitious by nature and loves solving difficultproblems—you should exhibit high-level management skills, resilience and composureunder pressure, and preferably hold a degree in relevant property-related discipline. Youshould have established yourself as a professional within design, construction and projectmanagement. Moreover, you should have a proven track record in profit planning,business development, networking and marketing. An effective communicator Are you considered a natural communicator? Alongside your native tongue, do you havea strong grasp of written and spoken English? You’ll need it in this role—strongcommunication skills are essential.Likewise, you’ll be in charge of creating an environment where all team members areencouraged to contribute; as well as managing company staff to achieve enthusiastic andeffective contribution to the project.
