What you Bring


  • 4-7 years of experience as a Database Developer across various RDBMS
  • Strong proficiency in database design, development, and management using SQL and related technologies
  • Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance
  • Working knowledge of data modelling and database architecture principles
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend)
  • Understanding of BI tools and their functionalities (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP)
  • Preferred knowledge of cloud databases and Big Data technologies
  • Basic programming skills in Python or Java are a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot database issues and apply best practices for database operations
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to an evolving tech landscape

  • Database Management Expertise: Solid experience in managing and optimizing databases for performance and reliability
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL for data retrieval and modification
  • Project Lifecycle Understanding: Ability to grasp the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring clarity on scope and responsibilities
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including data engineers and BI developers
  • Independent Working Ability: Demonstrated capacity to manage tasks autonomously while meeting deadlines


Your Role:


As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries to support various applications and reporting needs
  • Develop and implement ETL processes for data integration, focusing on the creation and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts
  • Collaborate in the design and architecture of data warehouse solutions to meet reporting and analytics requirements
  • Build and populate data marts from data warehouses, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for end users


Job Description :


  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets, fine-tuning performance as necessary
  • Write advanced PL/SQL and T-SQL programs tailored to specific requirements
  • Monitor, tune, and analyse database performance to ensure optimal operation
  • Actively engage with both the physical processing and storage aspects of data
  • Participate in the initial exploration and understanding of data characteristics to support downstream tasks
  • Establish efficient and reliable data pipelines that facilitate the flow of data into data warehouses and data marts
  • Collaborate with other technical professionals, including BI report developers, data analysts, and architects
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding
