We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global innovator of business and technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain data protection systems, ensuring high levels of security and efficiency.
- Configure and manage data deduplication disk pools and tape backup devices.
- Establish replication between locations to ensure seamless data protection.
- Develop and implement automated solutions to support operational and SLA objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to junior team members and participate in on-call rotations for storage Backup support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cost-effective solutions that meet business needs.
What You'll Need:
- Strong expertise in data protection software, including TSM.
- Experience working in large storage environments with formal change management practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to provide detailed documentation and training to junior staff.
- Knowledge of encryption and network routing protocols preferred.
