Overview:The BAMS(Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) RMO (Resident MedicalOfficer) for ICU (Intensive Care Unit) plays a critical role inproviding holistic medical care to patients in the ICU. They areresponsible for overseeing the medical treatment and care ofcritically ill patients collaborating with the healthcare team andensuring the highest standards of patient care andsafety.KeyResponsibilities:

• Provideroundtheclock medical care and monitoring for ICUpatients.
• Work in collaboration withspecialists nurses and other healthcare professionals to developand implement comprehensive treatmentplans.
• Conduct regular patient assessments andcreate individualized care plans.
• Administermedications treatments and procedures as per the patientsneeds.
• Attend to medical emergencies andprovide immediate interventions.
• Ensureaccurate and timely documentation of patient records and progressnotes.
• Communicate effectively with patientsfamilies and caregivers to provide updates and addressconcerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinarymeetings and contribute to care planning anddecisionmaking.
• Adhere to all medical protocolsquality standards and safety guidelines.
• Stayupdated on the latest advancements in critical care medicine andAyurvedic practices.

RequiredQualifications:

• Graduate degree inAyurvedic Medicine (BAMS) from a recognizedinstitution.
• Valid registration with theMedical Council.
• Prior experience working in anICU setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstratedproficiency in diagnosing and treating critical medicalconditions.
• Strong understanding of Ayurvedicprinciples and treatment modalities.
• Ability tomake quick and accurate medical decisions underpressure.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
