As a Mechanical/ Structural DesignerEngineer will be an integral part of our engineering and productdevelopment team. You will be responsible for creating innovativeand efficient mechanical designs for our products ensuring theymeet both functional and aesthetic requirements. Your expertisewill contribute to the successful realization of our projects andthe continued growth of ourcompany.

KeyResponsibilities:

ConceptualDesign: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to generate creativeand feasible design concepts for new products taking intoconsideration of factors such as functionality Design CodesMaterial Selection manufacturability andcosteffectiveness.CAD & 3DModelling: Utilize industrystandard CAD software (e.g. SolidWorksAutoCAD etc.) to create detailed 2D 3D part models and assemblydrawings of mechanical components and create cutting sheet metalplans.Prototyping: Work closely with theproduction/prototyping team to design build and test physicalprototypes of designs making necessary design adjustments based ontesting results.Materials and Manufacturing:Selection of appropriate materials and manufacturing processeswhile considering factors like cost durability and sustainability.Documentation: Create comprehensive designdocumentation including technical drawings bill of materials (BOM)and material specifications according to jobpriorities.Resource allocation &planning: Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes toselect and plan materials machinery and items required forproduction on priority.Cost Optimization:Continuously seek opportunities to optimize design solutions toreduce production costs without compromisingquality.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure thatall designs meet relevant industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.Project Management: Managedesign projects & design team adhering to timelines andbudgets and provide regular updates tostakeholders.

Qualifications:Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering/Structural Engineering or arelated field 4 6 Years of experience inmechanical design engineering (specific years can be added based onyour requirements).Proficiency in CADsoftware (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD).Strongknowledge of mechanical engineering principles materials andmanufacturing processes.Experience withdesign analysis and simulation tools is aplus.Excellent problemsolving skills andattention to detail.Effective communicationand collaboration skills.Team management& Leadership skills.Ability to workin a fastpaced and innovativeenvironment.
