Responsibilities:

DirectActivities:

* Timely and rightexecution of product development activities including formulationdevelopment supporting pilot & plant trials sensory evaluationimproving nutritional content or flavour creating healthier productlines i.e. products with less fat or sugar technology transfer andR&D documentation (specifications protocols reportsetc.)

* Developing better ways to minimisecontamination.

* Building prototypes and testingboth inhouse and onsite.

* Planning R&Dactivities.

* Product design physicochemicaltesting and analysing results.

* Devising ways tolengthen a products shelf life

* Devising ways tocut costs without reducing product quality

*Coming up with innovative ways to deal with s spoilage andwaste

* Optimize and scale up manufacturingoperations for new products to support the growth oforganization.

Indirectactivities

* Feasibility studies of R&Dproject.

* R&D related information servicesincluding data collection and data maintenance.

*Project management of R&D activities.

*Financial management of R&D projects.

*Educated food scientists operational and FSQA associates oningredient functionality fundamentals offood
