EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE:
  • ABachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systemsor related field.
  • Typically 710 years ofexperience in software testing of which 2 years onScale/Performance testing on Linux environment and 1 years ofSaaSbased cloud software test engineeringexperience.

DESIREDSKILLS &EXPERIENCE:
  • Experiencewith opensource performance monitoring tools and understandingperformance metrics.
  • Experience in testingsoftware products and solutions running on a distributedenvironment.
  • Understanding of Python andJavabased applications and how to perform benchmark testing on eachtechnology.
  • Experience in analysingmicroservices and identifying bottlenecks duringoperation.
  • Understanding of RDBMS concepts andworking experience in any RDBMS databases such as Oracle Postgresand SQL.
  • Understand business use casesinternal/external performance Benchmarks debugging performanceissues designing automation framework decision making on issuestechnical assistance in performance.
  • Experiencewith container/containerfleetorchestration technologies. (likeKubernetes Docker zookeeper etc)
  • Experience inautomating performance life cycle with CI/CDpipeline.
  • A deep understanding of performancetesting methodologies like Performance Testing Guidelines forBackend (DB Server etc.) Web Python JAVA Microservice UI and RestAPI.
  • Strong experience in identifyingperformance bottlenecks and their analysis providing sizingrecommendations profiling and tracing.
  • Strongexperience in testing tools such as JMeter LoadRunner and otheropensource tools.
  • Working knowledge of Linuxsystem environment and tuning operating systemparameters.
  • Experience with and Javaprogramming language and other scripting. (e.g. UNIX Shellscripting Python Perl)
  • Demonstrated ability togo the extra mile Selfstarter and selfmotivated with a candoattitude . Comfortable working in fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
  • Strong Analytical problemsolvingand troubleshooting/debugging skills.
  • Strongcommunication and collaborationskills.

ROLES&RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Workwith project scrum teams and other QEs responsible for all stagesof quality assurance for complex products andplatforms.
  • Utilize innovative testingtechnologies in capturing performance benchmarking numbers andperformance tuning of the systems undertest.
  • Manage the test strategy test preparationtest tool infrastructure test execution and results interpretationfor scale and performance testing.
  • Review andevaluate designs and product activities for compliance with qualityassurance guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback toimprove product quality and mitigate failurerisk.
  • Understanding nonfunctional testrequirements Defining and implementing performance testingstrategies and approach executing performance test cycles neededautomation coding results analysis identifying weak spotsinvestigating issues for components of the system under test andproposing corrective actions.
  • Influence bettersoftware architecture and design promote proper engineeringpractice bug prevention strategies testability automatabilitydebuggability accessibility privacy security and other advancedquality concepts across products.
  • Participationin innovation and integration of new tools and technologies intoprojects and activities in theorganization.
