Siemens Limited India is for a highly skilled CADModeling Specialist (NX) to join our Engineering Standards team. The idealcandidate will combine exceptional 3D CAD modeling skills with strongcommunication and coordination abilities to ensure the successful developmentand implementation of technical solutions. Take ownership of our NXCAD tools, methods, and philosophies for modeling gas turbine components andsystems; Maintain related processes and standards. Support user communityin application of cutting-edge CAD functionality to enable and improve designof advanced gas turbine components; In that, promote seamless end to endavailability of CAD models through design phase and whole product lifecycle. Collaborate closely withcomponent design teams to develop advanced CAD applications, methods and toolsaccording based on their requirements; implement solutions together with ourinternal customers. Represent EngineeringStandards towards a community of several hundred CAD and product definition users,as well as towards internal Stakeholders such as Engineering management orinterfacing organizations. Based on a broad insightinto the areas of standards, product lifecycle management and your CADexpertise, contribute to our future PLM data architecture and processes as anactive member of our digitalization initiative

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in a related field; Turbomachinery design experience preferred, but not a must. Extensive experience/knowledge of NX CAD modeling software including understanding of CAD foundations. General knowledge of relevant standards for product definition and GD&T. General knowledge of PLM data management tools & methods. Optional: Programming knowledge, esp. using Python or C# in conjunction with NXOpen. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse organization. Proven track record of successfully implementing technical solutions. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
