Job Description:

Middleware Support andMaintenance:

Provide comprehensive support forOracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) 12c and Oracle Service

Bus (OSB) environments.

Monitortroubleshoot and resolve issues related to FMW 12c and OSBapplications and

services.

WebLogic role Avaya:

Manage andmaintain Oracle WebLogic Server instances ensuring highavailability and

performance.

Perform regular WebLogic server patching upgrades andperformance tuning.

Application Deployment andManagement:

Deploy Javabased applications onWebLogic Server and ensure they are running smoothly.

Coordinate with development teams to manage applicationversions patches and updates.

IncidentManagement:

Respond to and resolve incidentswithin defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues andimplement permanent fixes.

PerformanceMonitoring and Optimization:

Monitor systemperformance and implement tuning measures to optimize applicationand

middleware performance. Use of any existingmonitoring tool of ELK Log Analytics is always

preferable.

Utilize monitoring tools toproactively identify and address potential issues.

Configuration Management:

Maintain andmanage configuration changes for FMW OSB and WebLogicenvironments.

Ensure configurations aredocumented and comply with best practices and standards.

Backup and Recovery:

Implement andmanage backup and recovery procedures for middleware andapplication

environments.

Ensure data integrityand availability in case of system failures.

Security Management:

Apply securitypatches and updates to FMW OSB and WebLogic environments. SSOand

OAuth knowledge and understanding is amust.

Implement security best practices toprotect applications and data.

Documentation andReporting:

Document support processes issueresolutions and system changes.

Generate regularreports on system performance incidents and resolutions.

Continuous Improvement:

Identifyopportunities to improve support processes and systemperformance.

Stay updated with the latest trendsand technologies in middleware Java and WebLogic.

OnCall Support:

Participate in anoncall rotation to provide support for critical systems duringweekends or

any system outages for theapplication team.
