Oracle DBA - Tech Lead - CREQ187312 Description

Responsibilities:

Required Skills: Oracle Certified DB Professional with at least than 8 years of experience with Oracle Database Administration that includes DB design (modelling and normalization), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation, support and operations and DB clustering technologies Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage. Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases working closely with system administration staff. Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database. Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database Evaluates releases of Oracle and its tools, and third party products to ensure that the upgrades are most appropriate with minimal impact. Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, packages and procedures Ability to install, configure on ORACLE DBA Clustering and fix support packs on all OS platforms A Good knowledge of the Unix/Linux Operating system Must be willing to work between 1:00 - 10:00 PM IST. Nice to have skills : Unix/Linux basic I/O operations and shell scripting.
