About the team

FIS Digital One encompasses several integrated banking modules that will deliver an omni- channel banking experience for our customers and their employees, with a unified user experience and real-time access to customer, account and transactional data across all banking channels.

What you will be doing

As a Quality Engineer you'll need to take an active role in shaping the quality of our software. This will demand deep integration with our development engineers, creating test plans, bug reporting and triaging, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews. You'll help us identify holes in coverage, actively sync with multi-functional teams to reduce duplication, foster better testing, and resist regressions. As QA Engineer you will perform the following activities:


  •     Interpret, understand and validate system requirements for new and existing solutions
    •    Work closely with the development and product management organizations to derive and interpret complex use cases in order to create the appropriate test plans and test cases.
    •    Develop test plans, automated test scripts and test cases that adhere to the technical and business requirements
    •    Execute complex white box and black box functional, system and regression tests and document the overall results
    •    Categorize, track and triage new and existing defects for recommendation for future releases
    •    Provide appropriate test metrics around the results of executed tests
    •    Actively investigate and recommend new tools, processes and test approaches for improving the quality of the solutions

•    Triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products / projects.
•    Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics

What you bring:

Primary Skills: STLC, Manual Testing, Automation Testing , SQL, Selenium framework, Java, Rest API, JavaScript and Postman.

Secondary Skills: JUnit, Mockito, Reddy API, SoapUI or any others Automation Testing tool

API testing using postman or similar tools, QA automation with knowledge of API Automation or UI automation using Java and Selenium or similar tools, Ability to write test suite, test cases, execute test cases, track defect cycle.

Knowledge of basic JavaScript, Knowledge of API Automation in AWS/Azure cloud, TDD development, Swagger Hub.                                

  • Experience on API testing & Automation of Rest/SOAP Services
  • Should have the 3+ years of Relevant Experience in Selenium Testing
  • Expertise in Design Develop and Maintenance of automation scripts.
  • Hands on automation experience in Web Applications as well as Devices using Appium
  • Experience on Selenium WebDriver, Test-Ng & Selenium Grid
  • Experience in Page object model framework, data driven framework, keyword driven model
  • Experience in continuous build integration – Jenkins/Maven integration
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues quickly.
  • Experience in automation support in agile model
  • Experience in managing batch execution, reporting test results
  • Experience in reviewing the manual test cases for the application and provide the feedback on suitability for the automation to the project team.
  • Support, maintain and enhance all the test case automation related activities during iterative developments, system testing and regression testing
  • Should have Strong knowledge on Core Java and Collections
  • Good Knowledge on database and able to write and execute SQL queries
  • Experience in defect management tools like JIRA/Test Rail
  • Must have worked on Banking Domain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to present at management/executive level
  • Excellent problem solving, organisational, and priority management skills
  • Able to work independently and act pro-actively
  • Able to do multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environments in Agile method to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
