About the Team: FIS Digital One includes numerous integrated banking modules that will provide an omni-channel banking experience for our clients and their staff, offering a unified user experience and real-time access to customer, account, and transactional data across all banking channels.

What You Will Be Doing: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the quality of our software. This will require close collaboration with our development engineers, creating test plans, reporting bugs, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews. You will help us pinpoint gaps in coverage, collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize redundancy, promote improved testing, and prevent regressions. We are establishing a passionate and diverse team that will cover a wide array of applications, tools, and frameworks. We need your assistance to achieve high quality standards.

Responsibilities as QA Engineer Include:

  • Interpret, validate system requirements for new and existing solutions
  • Collaborate closely with development and product management to derive and interpret complex use cases to develop appropriate test plans and cases
  • Develop test plans, automated scripts, and cases adhering to technical and business requirements
  • Execute white box and black box functional, system, and regression tests and document results
  • Categorize, track, and prioritize defects for future releases
  • Provide relevant test metrics
  • Explore and suggest new tools, processes, and approaches to enhance solution quality
  • React well to changes, handle multiple products/projects simultaneously
  • Offer release readiness suggestions based on test execution and defect metrics

Requirements:

  • Primary Skills: STLC, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, SQL, Selenium framework, Java, Rest API, JavaScript, Postman
  • Secondary Skills: JUnit, Mockito, Reddy API, SoapUI, API testing with Postman, QA automation with knowledge of API/UI automation using Java, Selenium, basic JavaScript, API Automation in AWS/Azure cloud, TDD development, Swagger Hub, hands-on experience in Web Applications and Devices using Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Test-Ng & Selenium Grid, Page object model framework, data-driven framework, keyword-driven model, continuous build integration (Jenkins/Maven), troubleshooting, automation support in agile model, test case automation activities, Core Java knowledge, good database knowledge, experience in defect management tools like JIRA/Test Rail, previous work in Banking Domain

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and priority management skills. Ability to work independently, multitask in fast-paced Agile environments, and deliver high-quality work promptly.
