Workingknowledge of Oracle and MySQL Business Continuity operations suchas backup/restore and disaster recovery SQL programming PLSQLprogramming andoptimizations
Knowledgeableabout network and storage technologies
Usingthirdparty tools services and scripts establish metrics and monitorthe health/utilization of infra resources
Excellentworking knowledge on ShellScripting

JOBRESPONSIBILITIESResponsiblefor database maintenance and system faults noticed by monitoringand reported by Application Support Collaborate closely withapplication owners to assess and improve application andapplication environment performance and reliability
Troubleshootdatabase issues and do root cause analysis
Toresolve issues collaborate with system and application ownersquality assurance release management and others
Workwith application users to create and run SQL and PLSQL objects andqueries
Activeparticipation in incident and problem management
Participatein afterhours and weekend support as well as oncall help.
Activeinvolvement in knowledge sharing anddocumentation
