As a Manager of Infrastructure Engineering at Corporate & Investment Banking - Payments Technology team, you supervise team members while applying depth of knowledge within your specialization. Exercise independent judgement within defined parameters to solve problems and meet broad objectives.Payments is one of the world’s largest, most trusted and innovative full-service providers of domestic and international cash management, liquidity, commercial card, FX, escrow solutions and merchant services. Job responsibilities
Anticipates the needs and potential dependencies of the immediate team Works with other teams to deliver projects in line with business requirements Provides immediate team with tasks, guidance, and expectations Identifies and escalates issues to execute according to compliance standards, risk and security, and service-level agreements Oversees work within an area of expertise within the infrastructure engineering discipline Applies relevant technical expertise, leadership, and business knowledge to projects of moderate scope Adds to the team’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience Experience leading infrastructure engineering projects and team members Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or system performance assessments Proficient in Devops Automation including experience in automations for certificates renewals, load balancer flips, blue green deployments Experience in Docker & Kubernetes concepts with Micro Services, Service Orientated Architectures Experience in Firewalls setup including ingress/egress firewall rules setup Experience with Linux, Tomcat, Websphere with working knowledge in monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Geneos and Datadog & Knowledge of Git, Maven and Jenkins or TeamCity Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals Experience of an Agile development methodology such as Scrum-
