Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The position requires someone with Unix and Windows administration experience, experience building out labs, and who possesses people skills to act as a liaison between engineering and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills

· Experience with configuring and maintaining VMware/vSphere ESXI servers.

· Advanced administration skills on UNIX, RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, and Windows systems in networked environments.

· Experience with installation of OS Packages on Linux/Solaris, OS Patching, administering users, networks, firewalls, and storage, as well as debugging and resolving OS and networking issues.

· Experience with configuring and maintaining both server and client subsystems for NIS, NFS, AutoMounter, DNS, and AD.

· Ability to configure/create Unix/Windows templates to be used in creating virtual machines.

· Ability to refine requirements for an isolated test lab and work with the infrastructure team to design and implement it.

· Ability to configure Unix/Windows virtual machines.

· Knowledge of scripting languages (sh, python, perl, …)

· Ability to work in geographically distributed teams.

· Excel knowledge to manage machine inventory and reporting.

· Ability to configure and maintain Solaris LDOMs, AIX LPARs and HPUX hardware will be a plus.

· Advanced administration skills on Solaris, AIX and HPUX will be a plus.

Job Description

· Work with the infrastructure team to design and implement the isolated test lab.

· Administering the isolated test lab including template creation, client/server subsystems, network monitoring, storage monitoring ,…

· Create scripts to dynamically configure and startup a specified virtual machine configuration.

· Supporting engineering teams with Linux/Windows virtual machine configurations for both test and development.

· Manage the inventory of virtual/physical machines and associated configurations owned by engineering team.

· Document and manage information network and subnet details.

· Monitor disk space and alert team members when thresholds are breached.

· Support machine admin tasks (restart services, debug issues) for engineering team members as needed.

· Function as primary point of contact for the engineering team for infrastructure issues.
