Role Description:

Supervises the development and maintenance of technical architecture including networks, applications, hosting, PC, workstation, and mobile. Supervises architecture of end-to-end integrated systems and applications. Identifies key technology interactions and dependencies across platforms. Supervises enterprise-wide guidance on network capabilities and hosting options.

Responsibilities for Infrastructure Lead

  • Working in a high performance team and be able to ‘keep up’
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management working with Project Manager and multiple stakeholders to manage their needs, expectations, requirements with a focus on continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation such as project plan, financial and status reporting using Microsoft tools
  • Ability to operate effectively both independently and in a team with attention to detail
  • Collaboration between internal/external teams including our Project Management Office
  • Participates in Enterprise Transformation activities, leads Infrastructure Solution Design and Deployment activities at Landing Zone (LZ including Public Cloud) locations
  • Participates and Approves all Changes to the site Infrastructure via Change Management procedures
  • Maintains a non-technical, Infrastructure Management posture which includes asset management, financial management (capex and opex), obsolescence status
  • Participates in IT Governance including but not limited to the following committees Architecture Standards, Service Delivery and Financial (including forecasting future demand for capital)
  • Manage project budgets, highlighting over- or under-spend at the appropriate level
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and assumptions
  • Track, monitor and report on overall progress (time, cost and quality) and any potential for change
  • Manage project communication and ensure the project documentation is completed and accepted
  • Manage operational readiness and ensure handover to support, the business and other key stakeholders is delivered successfully.
  • Ensure projects are closed effectively holding project closure meetings when appropriate

Basic Qualifications & Experience:

  • Site Operations Management
  • LAN troubleshooting/problem determination skills (Ethernet, Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
  • CISCO firewall/Virtual Private Network (VPN) equipment, Adaptive Security Appliance, CISCO Aggregation Service Routers (ASR), and Virtual Switching Systems (VSS)
  • IP services, , IP, Multicast, Quality of Service (QOS), and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
  • ITIL Intermediate certification in Service Operations, Service Transition, or Operational Support and Analysis (OSA)
  • Understanding of IT Service and Delivery Management principles with a proven track record of delivering results and introducing practical project management techniques to programs.
  • Exhibit confidence communicating and interacting with management across LOB & technology teams
  • Knowledge or experience of project management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum
