Overview:

This opening is for Advance Research & Technology MBSE group at Collins Aerospace India for software control system engineer. Requires a total of 3 to 5 years of experience in system modeling activities with software controller modeling, skill set on system C, C++, Embedded programming, Python, MATLAB Simulink. Ideal candidate should have inclination towards research and development in software controller modeling in system engineering domain for exploring and implementing new technologies.
 


Position : Associate Engineer MBSE - Grade P1

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the senior engineers and other stake holders to develop system software controller model for various Aircraft systems like Environmental Control System, Landing system, Cargo and seat systems etc.
• Understanding requirements from stake holders and execute the project deliverables with minimal support and high quality.
• Technical coaching of junior engineers
• Participate in internal CoP and external professional bodies 
• Lead projects with ability to deliver the results within cost and schedule with quality
• Support creating Standard works, Lessons Learnt documents, Standard Job Instructions and Check lists.

Interact with stakeholders for close coordination of the project activities.

Basic Qualifications:

B.Tech/M.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Control system) Control system Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engg/ Power system Engineering Experience in SW virtual testing, Control system, software hardware interface More than 3-5 years of experience in Software controller Modelling/Simulation skills with system C programing, Embedded Programming (Mandatory) Candidate should have understanding on HW interfaces/functionalities/ Communication Protocols, Sensors, Signal Processing etc., Candidate should have MATLAB Simulink system modeling experience with control system background.  Highly Experienced in Matlab or Python based scripting. Hands on experience in FMU based model exchange will be an added advantage. Critical thinker, decision making and problem-solving skill.

Skill Sets:

Programing : C, C++, embedded systems programming (System C) (Mandatory)

Software Skill: MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Software in loop concepts (SIL)
