Pre-requisites:
 BTech/MBA Degree in Management.
 Extremely Good Communication Skills.
 Must have IT / Commerce Background and experience in IT supply chain/IT procurement.
 Knowledge in SAP/Ariba/ e-Auctions/e-Negotiations/ERP other automation package.
 At least 6-8 years of Global experience in Supply chain and procurement dealing with international customers / partners directly.
 Aware of basic legal clauses, commercial clauses, tax laws and flow-downs in contracts.
 Strong exposure to various aspects of the procurement process including contract laws, negotiation, market dynamics, commercial strategy, strategic sourcing, contract management and supply relationship management.
 Ability to work in stretched time zones.
 Knowledge of one international language (other than English) will be an added advantage.

Key Role & Responsibilities:
 Excellent analytical and decision-making skills are also required, and knowledge of IT Hardware, Software, Network, Supply Chain, Storage, IT services, compute, cloud sourcing, telecom is desirable.
 Supply chain management, Contract Negotiations, Contract management, Contract Compliance, sourcing and Procurement Strategy, Negotiation skills, Vendor management, Cost saving.
 Manage requisition development and transition to purchasing operations to be consistent with requirements and distribute to the category team.
 Drive Continuous Process Improvement to optimize cost / increase value. Plan in place to address tail of suppliers (where appropriate) & adherence to approved supplier list.
 Knowledge of key suppliers in global supply base & the risks in the category.
 Pan-LoB spend management and relationship with main influencers of spend in the category.
 Agreed approach on buying outside cross country or within the relevant categories and understanding the category plans.
 Procurement strategy in place & agreed with stakeholders covering sourcing plans, governance, in-life management & risks.
 Knowledge of LoB key suppliers in global supply base, category plans, the risks and benchmarks.
 Spend management and relationship with main influencers of spend.
 Plan in place to address LoB tail of suppliers & adherence to approved supplier list.
 Ensuring that purchasing and renewal activities are managed appropriately across the team.
 Provide approval sign of in accordance with the supply chain DOA.
 Run and manage high value procurement activities where required.
 Ensure that activities are tracked, and savings recorded using the appropriate internal systems and tools.
 Managing supplier relations and negotiating prices, contracts within timelines.
 Review Proposals and cost comparisons
 The person would create solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
 Requires adherence to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals.
 Interaction of the individual is with senior management at a client and/or within Orgnization, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach.
