JobDescription

Workswith the business on future product direction and technologycapability through relevant engagement processes

· Understanding on Sales/CRMprocesses for B2C and B2B both

. O2A experience in the solutiondesigner

· Responsiblefor the sign off of requirements with the BusinessAnalyst

· Carries out requirementsmanagement and scope assessments based on technical and budgetconstraints (will work closely with the Engagement leads)

· Inputs into architectural discussions and theresulting Architectural artefacts for a given solution

· Input into the estimation process during theConcept and Feasibility stages of projects

· Identifying the scope and scale of the changeneeded to satisfy the project requirements

· Produces and owns the E2ESolution Design Document which will be the referencefor the technical implementation

·Ensure any detailed platform solution designs are produced andaligned with the E2E Solution DesignDocument

· Responsible for alignmentof Technical Solution with project requirements includingdefinition of project phasing and work package breakdown

· Responsible for briefing the solution designto the development leads and relevant architecture and designforums

· Gathers input from BusinessAnalysts and other relevant parties (eg. User Experience) tocoordinate and produce Functional Specification document as afollowon from the Solution Design to a level of detail required forimplementation

· Supervise and reviewthe deliverables produced by the development teams for theirprojects

· Verify the technicalspecification produced by the development teams against thesolution design

· Owns the projectlist of technical issues or queries and works closely with thedelivery team to agree and communicate resolution

· Provides input to the delivery team on thescope of the solution to help with the construction of the deliveryplan

· Gain mutual agreement on thedesign with the Development Leads and delivery managers

· Work with Service Transition on thedeployment plans and the nonfunctional requirements for thesolution

· Incorporates 3rd partydeliverables into overall solution

·Accountable for ensuring that the E2E Solution Design remains up todate throughout the lifecycle of the project; that it representsthe solution which is deployed; and that the final solution iscommunicated back to Architecture to baseline productionenvironments/infrastructure and to any other interestedparties

· Adhere to guidelinesestablished by (Enterprise) Architecture Operations and InformationSecurity for all solutions

Required Experience

· Good knowledge ofsoftware principles and design experience with relevantplatform

· Handsonexperience working in DitalTransformation.

· Good knowledge of working withJira Confluence and other Design tools like draw.io visioetc.

·Thorough understanding of Open Digital Architecture TMF FrameworksOpen APIs etc.

·Experience of UML design principles

·Proven experience of working with technical teams. At all levelsfrom design through to development and implementation

· Able to coordinate design decisions forsystems to be delivered by multiple suppliers both internal andexternal

· Ability to lead designdiscussions with third party vendors

· Understanding of development methodology andsoftware development

· IT relateddegree or similar preferred

· OtherIT industry qualifications and evidence of vocationaltraining/experience

· Experience ofdesigning solutions in a multitiered IT infrastructure.

· Strong communication skills to technical andnontechnical audiences

· The abilityto make decisions on major technical and delivery issues

· Excellent communications skills both verbaland written

· Demonstrates a highlevel of interpersonal skills and is comfortable at all levels ofcontact and in a wide variety of situations

· A broad understanding across the whole of thesoftware life cycle with a record of having applied the knowledgesuccessfully in a variety of situations
