Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist Surgeon to join our team at Hire Xpert. As a Consultant Ophthalmologist Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases and performing surgical procedures on the eyes. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, and the employment type is full-time.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
  • Valid medical license to practice as an Ophthalmologist
  • Proven experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist Surgeon with 4 to 6 years of experience
  • Strong surgical skills and experience in performing eye surgeries
  • Excellent diagnostic abilities and knowledge of various eye conditions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide clear explanations
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, including diseases, injuries, and infections
  • Perform surgical procedures on the eyes, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplants
  • Prescribe medications and provide non-surgical treatments for eye-related issues
  • Conduct routine eye examinations and screenings
  • Educate patients on eye health and proper care
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, such as optometrists and ophthalmic technicians, to provide comprehensive eye care
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education programs
