  • Monitoring cloud costs and explore cost optimizationstrategies

  • Planningand patching systems based on generated software vulnerabilityreports
  • Responding to alerts and escalationof incidents with the aim to analyze and resolve them
  • Execute root cause analysis into P1/P2incidents
  • Fulfilling service requestsraised
  • Deploy release packages from a CI/CDsolution
  • Ensure training material andtechnical documentation on new and existing operating process arekept uptodate
  • Reporting key metrics to theservice manager
  • Participate and contribute toour Agile way of working including planning retrospectives andshowcases
  • Document and track issues andreasonable steps taken within the ticket managementsystem
  • Provide afterhours support within adefined roster

Who youare

  • You must have a strong technicalaptitude and an organized process driven work ethic.
  • You will have strong written and verbal communicationskills and a track record for providing high customer satisfaction.
  • At least 3 years experience in an OnlineSystems/Web application support
  • Exposure toAPM monitoring alerting and identifying trends withdashboards
  • Experience with installationconfiguration managing and operating Linux systems
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT Operations in analwaysup and always available service
  • Have agood understanding and experience working with one of three majorPublic cloud providers (AWS MS Azure GCP)
  • Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes will be anadded advantage
  • Experience in querying logsusing log aggregation tools like ELK SPLUNK etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database likeMySQL/Oracle/PostgresSQL/DynamoDB/MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis/Memcache
  • Has experience working with JIRA andConfluence
  • Prior working experience in anAgile environment will be an advantage
  • Anunderstanding of ITIL practices would be ideal
  • You must be willing to work in shifts.
