Yourrole:
THISIS A FULL TIME POSITION ONSITE BASED OUT OF OUR KOLKATAOFFICE.
Thisis a core development position within our software development andengineering team where you will play a critical role in designingdeveloping and optimizing the software infrastructure andapplications on our trading systems. You will need to be a highlyskilled developer with a deep understanding of C as well as similarproficiencies across a number of other coding platforms andlanguages. Prior experience within an existing HFT environment witha proven track record is a plus.Your key responsibilities willinclude but are not limitedto:
  • Collaboratingclosely with senior engineer and cross functional teams to designimplement and optimize softwaresolutions.
  • Developing testing and maintaininghigh quality software applications usingC.
  • Analysing and solving complex problems viaData Structures &Algorithms.
  • Understanding and leveragingoperating system principles to enhance software functionality andefficiency.
  • Participating in and performingcode reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to promote bestpractices and maintain code quality androbustness.
  • Monitoring and troubleshootingproduction systems promptly identifying and resolving any issues tomaintain uninterrupted trading uptime.
  • Trackingand onboarding the latest developments in industry trends tradingtechnologies and bestpractices.

Ourneeds:
  • ABachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Engineering or arelated field.
  • 13 years of experience as asoftware developer ideally within a highfrequency/algorithmictrading environment.
  • Strong foundationalproficiency in C programming with a proven track record of writingefficient and maintainable code.
  • Indepthknowledge of how computers work including hardware and softwareinteractions.
  • Solid understanding of datastructures and algorithms with the ability to apply them to solvereal world problems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge ofoperating systems including their design functionality andperformance considerations.
  • Basic understandingof computer networking principles andprotocols.
  • Excellent communication andcollaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn andadapt to new technologies andmethodologies.
