About the role

The Office Manager will serve as a culture ambassador and provide operational support and oversight of various HR programs for all India employees. We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team in this critical role. The Office Manager will ensure the smooth functioning of our India office, implement efficient processes, and execute HR initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • This role combines aspects of Human Resources, Office Management, and Workplace Culture:

Human Resources

  • Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including performance evaluation.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations

Office Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of our remote office
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Manage office budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Act as the point of contact between employees and management regarding office-related issues.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Workplace Culture

  • Spearhead the organization and execution of India-wide events, fostering team unity and camaraderie.
  • Execute employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and promote a culture of appreciation.
  • Coordinate diverse cultural festivals and celebrations, embracing the richness of our team's backgrounds and traditions.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment through regular communication, feedback mechanisms, and wellness initiatives, ensuring every employee feels valued and respected.
What We're Looking For: 
  • 3-5+ years as an Office Manager or HR Operations professional, preferably in a startup environment
  • Proven experience with HR responsibilities, benefits, onboarding, and event coordination (in office)
  • Possess a "roll up your sleeves" attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Enjoy collaborating within a team environment, working closely with the People team and stakeholders alike.
