Asa member of the electrical team you will contribute to the missionby:
  • Performingand directing others in detailed building design including lightingpower HVAC power single line diagrams lighting controls fire alarmcommunications security and related engineeringcalculations.
  • Providingtechnical guidance and training to more juniorstaff.
  • Ensuringthat design standards and quality control procedures are followedand that designs comply with federal state and localcodes.
  • Mentoringmore junior staff and developing them for growth within theirdiscipline and thefirm.


Requirements
  • Bachelorof Science in Electrical Engineering(BSEE).
  • 4years of building designexperience.
  • Proficiencywith Revit andBluebeam.
  • Experiencefilling the role of project engineer for several projects occurringconcurrently.
  • Strongunderstanding and knowledge of industrycodes.
PreferredQualifications
  • Workingknowledge of fire alarm design andinstallation.
  • Modularconstructionexperience.
  • Experiencemanaging two or more people on a projectteam.
  • Engineerin Training (EIT) certification US based work experience andunderstanding of National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) National FireAlarm and Signaling Code (NFPA 72) Life Safety Code (NFPA 101)International Building Code (IBC) and IEEE Standards is aplus.
  • Understandingof California Building Energy Efficiency Standards is aplus.

Benefits
